About Jan Salzer Art
Jan Salzer has taught art for many years and lives in the New Orleans area. She has been creating art for her friends and family most of her life. Jan's work is sold in a few stores in Louisiana now but she starting selling her ceramics, paintings and floor cloths at local art markets in New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Thanks to Jan's daughter for suggesting to her to purchase a kiln, Jan has enjoyed making detailed custom ceramics plates, platters and tiles. Each piece is hand painted and glazed with only lead free glazes, making them pretty and functional!

My work can be seen at Roux Royale in the French Quarter, located on the corner of Royal and Toulouse. A great store with lots of fun merchandise. If you are out and about in the Quarter, stop by, you won't be disappointed.
I am also in Judy at the Rink, on the corner of Washington and Prytania by Commander's Palace. It's a lot of fun to peruse all this shop has to offer.
In Metairie, you can find my work at NOLA Gifts and Décor off West Esplanade and Transcontinental. This store is chuck full of all the things you never knew you just have to have!
My work is also sold at Perino's Garden Center on Veterans, plants and art are two of my favorite things! You are never disappointed shopping there, you can always find the perfect gifts there! And clothes, I love the clothes they have there!! My closet is full of cute pieces from them, as are my granddaughters closets!!!
Little Miss Muffin on Harrison Ave., Metairie Rd., and Severn!!! Anything you need, they have! Gifts, children's clothing, toys, women clothing and shoes! And now, my ceramics!
Home Malone!! They have local art, so many wonderful artists, and a store on Carrollton Ave. and Magazine St.
318 Art Co. in Shreveport carries so many pieces! And Cassie is a gem and has so many art pieces from New Orleans artists!
